Spy Bot Search and Destroy stops running. My machine has slowed down. AntiVir (FREE), Threatfire, HazardShield, AdAware 2008 and COMODO Firewall Pro have not indicate any problems. Here is the HijackThis print out. Do I have a problem?

Click Here to download the current version of HiJackThis.

• Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
• Open Notepad > Click on Format > Uncheck Word wrap, if checked.
• Double-click on the desktop icon for HJTINstall.exe.
• By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HiJackThis.
• Continue to click Next in the setup dialogue boxes until you get to the Select Additional Tasks dialogue.
  
• Put a check by Create a desktop icon then click Next again.
• Continue to follow the rest of the prompts from there.
• At the final dialogue box click Finish and HijackThis (HJT) will launch.
  
• Close any/all browsers, messenger, mediaplayer, Office and mail client windows and applications.
  
• Click on the 'Scan' button. When the scan is finished, press the 'Save' button. HiJackThis will open a Notepad document with scan in it. Save the log to your Desktop for ease in locating it.
  
• Click on Edit > Select All then click on Edit > Copy to copy the contents of the log to your clipboard.
• Come back here to this thread, right click your mouse and select Paste to paste the log in your next reply.
• DO NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
• Make certain your post shows the entire log, please.

Please keep all your posts for this one issue in one thread! I found your log in someone else's thread when I checked for all the posts you have made. This is one area that we will NOT cut you any slack. If you continue to post in other peoples HJT threads, you will be banned. Consider yourself warned!


Now, your HJT log is clean but that does not mean there is nothing hiding. Do the following and post the required logs (2) in this thread.


Download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) to your Desktop. Note: You must be logged onto an account with administrator privileges.

1. Close all applications and windows.
2. Double-click on dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
3. When the scan is complete, two text files will open - main.txt <- this one will be maximized and extra.txt <-this one will be minimized
4. Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your reply
