I got the following message when attempting to access task manager (something to the effect of): your administrator has disabled task manager. I didn't do it, so my computer must be infected. I was able to correct the task manager problem and restore my computer to an earlier time, but I'm not sure if I'm still infected. this is my log:

1. Close any open browsers.

2. Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:



Save this as CFScript.txt, in the same location as ComboFix.exe




Refering to the picture above, drag CFScript into ComboFix.exe

When finished, it shall produce a log for you at "C:\ComboFix.txt"

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall


Second:
Run HiJackThis and press the Scan' button

When the scan is finished:

When I dragged the file to combofix.exe, nothing happened, so I just manually deleted the files and keys. here's my new log:

First:
Click Start, then click Run.
Enter into the command box that opens: combofix /u and then click OK.



Second:
Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

If you use Firefox browser

Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
