Sooo! I just got online tonight to find that some sites are NOT loading (facebook.com, myspace.com, wikipedia.com, amazon.com, etc.) at all. I can't even check my emails & the iTunes store doesn't work either! :( I had some virus ~issues~ last week, but I ran a scan and then it worked fine again, but I think it's coming back to haunt me. :( please help & thank you!

Thanks for the new log. Nothing outstanding shows. IN view of your recent infection, it is prudent to run a multipurpose cleaner to get leftovers and show what else may still need attention.

Please delete any copy of ComboFix currently on your computer. This program is updated regularly and we want to be sure you have the most recent version.

Download Combofix and save it to your desktop.

**Note: It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**

1. Close any open browsers.

2. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.

When finished, it will produce a report for you.
• Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new HijackThis log for further review.

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall

So I started the scan and it's stuck on "Deleting folders/files" or whatever. I'm on another computer...I don't know if it's really stuck, but it's been on there for a good 20 minutes. I hope you're not trying to play some dirty trick on me to ruin my computer forever.

EDIT: As of 5:54, some 40 minutes since the original post, it's still stuck on there. Ahhhh.

ComboFix should not hang at all and normally is finished in 20 minutes or less. CTRL-ATL-DEL to terminate it using Task Manger.

Now, as your comment about using ComboFix as a joke to ruin your computer. Poor thought and even poorer choice to express it. I have no reason to harm your computer and the very fact you are here, shows me you are already capable to ruining it yourself. I see no reason why I should waste my time trying to help you. If you have something to say, now is the time, otherwise, take your problems somewhere else.

LOL um. i was joking. anyway...there's a winter storm and the power went off and my computer's power turned off. i turned it back on the the clock is messed up. it reads 18:40 currently, and i'm clueless as how to fix it.

To reset the time and date:

Control Panels -> Date and Time
