Currently I have a problem with the main page of google won't load for me, but the images and video part does. A friend of mine told me to download prevx1 to see if i had maleware. So i downloaded it and got ride of some maleware but it still doesn't load for me. So what should I do? Also I have one other problem. When I go to delete some files off my c drive I get this.

Cannot delete file. Access is denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or write protected
and that the file is currently not in use.

Create a directory on your hardrive to save HijackThis.exe. A directory like c:\hijackthis. If you do not do this, you will not be able to use the backup/restore features.

Download HijackThis from:

HijackThis Download Site

Save this file into the directory you made previously and then run the program named hijackthis.exe. When the program opens click on the Config button, then click on the Misc Tools button, and click on the Check for update online button. When it completes checking/applying updates press the back button.

Now click on the Scan button and when it is finished click on the Save Log button. A Notepad window will open with the contents of this log. Click on Edit then click on Select all. Then click on Edit and then Click on Copy.

Create a reply to this post here and right click in message area and select paste to paste the log into the post.

Someone will reply to you after reading this post. DO NOT fix any entries unless you understand what you are doing.

Also, do the following (if you can get to the website):

1.Download the HostsXpert from here: http://www.funkytoad.com/content/view/13/31/
2. Install the program and run it.
3. Press 'Restore Original Hosts' and press 'OK'
4. Exit Program.

Note: This program also has a Hosts file backup facility that may want to use if you have added custom entries to the Hosts file.

If you used HostXpert to reset your HOSTS file, did the problem go away? If you have not used it, please do.

ALso, you HJT log is clean, so lets check further...

Please download SilentRunners from here:
http://www.silentrunners.org/Silent%20Runners.zip

Unzip it to the desktop and double-click on it.
Silent Runners will ask if you want to skip the supplementary search.
Please select 'No' to include them.
The program will take longer to run, but will give us more information.

If you get any kind of warning message about scripts, please choose to allow the script to run.

When the scan is finished, a message will pop up and a logfile will have been created on the desktop.
The logfile is named 'Startup Programs' by default and will be located where the program is.

Please post the entire contents of this logfile for me to see.

do you know about my other problem where i can't delete files off my c drvie. like i get this.

IN some occasions, files with have the 'on use' attirbute set and cannot be removed. You can use Killbox to remove them on boot. YOu can find it here: http://killbox.net/

wow it ain't deleting the files. it's only doing it on my norton antivirus IWP folder. trying to get ride of it so I can re-install it.

You want Killbox to remove the files on boot, before Windows loads. An alternativce is to cancel explorer before deleting. Killbox can do that as well, but in either case you need to reboot. The only difference is when.
