Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked.

While still in Safe Mode*, delete the following: (you may need to show hidden files**)
(Files specified without a full path will be located in C:\Windows\ or C:\Windows\System32\)
C:\WINDOWS\ICROSO~1.NET\lsass.exe

*How to Boot into Safe mode: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgen...001052409420406
**Show Hidden and System files and folders: http://www.xtra.co.nz/help/0,,4155-1916458,00.html

Also, uncheck the boxes for hiding known file extensions and hiding protected operating system files. We want to see it all. When we finish here, it would be a good idea to rehide the protected operating system files but leave the rest to be shown.

Reboot in normal mode

Run HiJackThis again and post a new log in this thread.

OK I did exactly what I was told and our computer crushed, my husband took it to his work today, and their computer guy said that the lsass.exe is a windows main file so I basicly deleted more or less our whole windows, hopefully they will be able to restore it. If not then I am afraid that we will need to get new system.
I just hate viruses, and every time I get them I get more and more frustrated, people who invent them must be really bored.
LoPhatPhuud
The computer person at your husband's office needs to qualify his comments re parts of Windows. The file, lsass.exe is indeed a part of Windows, but the correct location is C:\Windows\System32\ not C:\WINDOWS\ICROSO~1.NET\. People writing trojans often use legitimate Windows file names for their malware. In this case the file C:\WINDOWS\ICROSO~1.NET\lsass.exe is indeed infected, and is not a part of Windows. Deleting it would not crash Windows in and of itself. You will find that the valid WIndows file is still present, if you can get the computer restated.

None of the files we removed would cause Windows to crash. I suspect there was more going on behind the scene than your HJT log showed.

Probably there was, one time when we deleted Trojan we lost everything and had to set the system again. Thank you for help, we will keep you posted on how it is going.
