Whenever I open a program, I get an error message with the following text:

filename.exe - Bad Image
.dll is not a valid Windows Image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

I read that this is a malware problem, what should I do?

You had this same exploit back in late August/early September and never came back to finish posting. I have no idea of what transpired but due to the prior infection and what I expect I will find if I try to clean you now, I am going to suggest that you reformat and reinstall. I would guess that your system is so severely compromised that cleaning will not get everything.
mtm0412
What does reformat mean? What would I reinstall?... I can tell you mean basically wipe the slate clean and start anew, but what exactly would I have to do?
LoPhatPhuud
You need a Windows CD, Recovery CD's, or a Recovery partition installed on your hard disk. For new computers, manufacturers usually have a factory re-install partition and a recovery CD/DVD that you can boot from.

And yes, I am talking about starting all over from scratch. Save all your important data first and burn it to CD/DVD. You will be erasgin your hard drive. Check the doc's that came with your computer.
mtm0412
I have every CD/document that came with the computer, so I'm positive I have everything necessary. It's possible to erase my hard drive myself from these CDs? Thanks for your help.
LoPhatPhuud
Check the online help, or your manufacturers web page, for information on how to restore your system using the disks provided.

Basically, you will put the CD in the drive, and reboot. It will start from the CD and then offer you the choice of recovery. Again, be sure you have backed up all your valuable data. It will lost when you reformat.
