Here is additional info about this machine. I have done all the stepped recommended by the THINK YOUR ARE INFECTED.
- Installed Norton 2006 NIS, updated scan, no more issue found by NIS
- Installed Adware, scanned, no more issues found
- Installed SpywareGuard, Spyblaster, Spybot, CWShredder no more issues found
- Installed Windows Defender, no more issues found
- Installed Trend Micro Anti-Spyware, no more issues found
- Ran DLLCompare, no issue found
- Updated browser settings for maximum security
- Ran Dr. Web Antivirus, cureit.exe, I am not that familiar with this toos, but it flagged detecing some .dll and .exe
as probably DLOADER.Trojan and BACKDOOR.Trojan. The tools is just renamed this supposedly infected files.
- Machine is using Windows XP Home, has Service packs 2 installed, still trying to do Windows updates
If it has these trojans I need help removing them. Dr Web detects these problems but does not seem to remove totally, since
after multiple scans and attempts to remove with this tool, the same trojans are being detected.
I just generated a Hijack this log and starupt log. PLEASE HELP
