I suggest you keep a link on your desktop our in your favorites folder in IE..so that you can return to your layest topic and that way you will not have any problems.. :thumbup:

Now I have something specific to tell you as you get on with the cleaning of your PC..

If in fact you do not intend to upgrade your OS and your IE since you have


Platform: Windows XP (WinNT 5.01.2600)
MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP1 (6.00.2600.0000)

Then you are wasting your time since so many of the problems you have on that PC are because you have failed up update your OS which plugged the holes used by some of these malware you do have.

The first line of defense is not to clean your PC after the fact..or even install numerous third party Anti "whatever" programs to stop them in real time.

The first line of defence is to have an OS what is not vunerable to them in the first palce...unless you are installing some of them on purpose..or they end up on your PC as "value added" bad boy installed with free programs you find on the Interent.

Then you have to learn to also lock down your Internet Explorer.
