Hi, I thought I would check out the backup function on HJT, so I did a test << several of them >> With HJT in different folders on C drive other than your desktop or temp folder, cause they say the backups don't work there.

I made a fix of an 016 DPF (downloaded program file) on HJT, and made a backup.
Checked that backup in it's file folder where HJT reside, said it's there.

Went to the backup feature on HJT checked the fix I wanted to restore, then clicked on restore and the item didn't return.

I don't know whats wrong Has anyone else check this funtion? is it just me...

Sometimes just one backup doesn't work. What happens when you try to restore another?

Hi, well I did two separate backups at two different times which created 2 restore backup lines on HJT.
Both where active x 016-DPF>> which I can get back easy just by going back to the web site that I got em from.. Didn't want to try something else, in fear.
Tried to restore 1 of them,,, and it didn't work!
I did the other 1>> with my VirusScan disabled (thinking that might work) and that was no good also.

I don't know what to do?? To get the backup feature to work!
I also uninstalled it & redownloaded and moved it to different folders and still the same thing.
Help would be cool. Thanks.
