i went through the entire list of stuff to do, spyware guard, spybot search nd destroy, spyad, spyware blaster, etc and i still get popups... heres my log try to help please

ive run into some more problems. when i ran the microsoft update i had to restart my computer and when i turned it back on i got a little message saying that my sound card is not properly installed. in my device manager i have a yellow ! next to my cd drive as well as my sound card. i cant install my sound card driver without the cd drive working... wtf LOL. how do i fix??

Also, uncheck the boxes for hiding known file extensions and hiding protected operating system files. We want to see it all. When we finish here, it would be a good idea to rehide the protected operating system files but leave the rest to be shown.

Reboot in normal mode

Run HiJackThis again and post a new log in this thread.


Second:
Download L2mfix:
http://www.downloads.subratam.org/l2mfix.exe

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.


IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!
