Microsoft MVP Steve Wechsler (aka Mow Green) noticed that most victims of malware Winfixer | Vundo | Virtumonde are using older version of Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) by Sun Microsystems. He created a poll over in AUMHA forums about it. Microsoft MVP Janie Whitty (aka CalamityJane) opened the same poll over in dslreports.com forum so if you've been a victim of Winfixer | Vundo | Virtumonde, please participate in the poll by simply choosing whether older version of Sun Java were installed or not.
