Hi, I have been having problems with popcorn320 and other files (m00.exe and others). I got rid of some/most of them using adAware, ran Norton and got a message saying all was well, but my computer kept running slowly, so I did ctrl alt del and found winctrl64 running about 35 times in my processes. I also discovered popcorn320, checked it out and managed to delte the file on startup using MoveOnboot and delete the registry value. I have now restarted my computer to find it running again. I ended the process tree on the task manager for popcorn320 and it seems to have terminated most of the problem of my computer running slowly, but iI want to get completely rid of it.

I also noticed on this log the about:blank which was set as my homepage automatically for a while, I thought I had got rid of it but the log ifle shows it still being their, this will teach me to use IE! where can I get Firefox from?!

Also, uncheck the boxes for hiding known file extensions and hiding protected operating system files. We want to see it all. When we finish here, it would be a good idea to rehide the protected operating system files but leave the rest to be shown.

thanks for that, thouhght you wanted the log in safe mode, sorry! Not been having nearly as many problems as normal, but my machine is still slightly more sluggish than normal, especially with it's internet connection, but then that's just as likely to be my crappy ISP!

That last was good too.

I have no suggestions for svc.exe. The file is not infected.

Cleaning temporary files/folders and defrag can help performance too.
