hello
I installed AMUST Registry Cleaner ( h**p://www.amustsoft.com ) for trial purposes, monitored the installation with Total Uninstal an then removed it.

According to Rootkit revealer ( from sysinternal.com ) the

HKLM\SOFTWARE\AMUST\Registry Cleaner\pos*whor_xpos**
Key name contains embedded nulls (*).

Regedit is not able to remove it and same for any other registry editor I've used.

Any help or suggestion.

Is this a security risk.

Thank to all.

PS. Sorry , my english may not be good since I'm italian.

I don't think it is a security risk. Even though I don't use it, Registry Cleaner is one the good guys. What Operating System are you running?

Can you run the following command from "Start", "Run...": regedit /e c:\export.txt "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\AMUST". This will create a file (C:\Export.txt. Can you post the contents of that file in this thread?
