I AM USING WIN2K PROFESSIONAL EDITION. I HAVE USED THE LATEST ANTIVIRUS OF NORTON.
NOW WHENEVER I DOUBLE CLICK ANY OF MY DRIVE OR ANY FOLDER ON DESKTOP, IT SHOWS NO CONTENTS BUT A MESSAGE COMES
"WAS VIRUS DESTROYED!!!"
I AM UNABLE TO SEE ANY ICON OT FILE IN ANY DRIVES.
PLZ HELP AND PROVIDES A WAY OUT.

I am not sure how much you can do.

If you use explorer can you see the files?

Are yuo using your computer to post?

If so then do this:

Download *Hijack This!* (current version is 199.1)
http://www.castlecops.com/downloads-file-328.html
http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/

Unzip to a folder other than your Desktop or the Temp folder. Then, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that and copy & paste its contents here.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet. Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
