Hi - All of you running this forum are great ! You helped me solve a major problem with my system a year ago. This time I have an annoying but not fatal issue...I think. I followed your pre-posting instructions and ran new AdAware SE and Hijack This in Safe mode.....

The log that was returned is attached.....

What happens is that McAfee warns me periodically that my browser home page has been changed with an accept or reject....sometimes I am able to prevent it from changing and other times it changes it to http://blank.......

it seems like a form of the Cool Web search issue again but it is not preventing me from doing anything on my machine...

Can you please review the log and give me some advice ?

Thanks again !!!!

Before we begin, please be sure that HiJackThis is in its own folder. This will allow us to use backups to restore entries if necessary. Please do not put HiJackThis in a temporary folder, or on the Desktop. I suggest using 'c:\program files\hijackthis\' or C:\HiJackThis\, but any name you choose is fine.

Check the following items in HiJackThis:
