Hi all,

There is a file in my windows/system32 directory named "uihqfiht.exe"

This file restores itself with every bootup. Even when I delete the file from the directory and clear it from the registry, it comes back. Norton AV, Ad-Aware SE, Spybot search and destroy do not flag it as dangerous at all. I have no idea what it is or what it does. I googled the file name but absolutely nothing came up....any thoughts?

Sorry. Here is the hijack log file.

But the thing is....the file is gone.....I deleted the file from the windows/system32 directory and rebooted before making this log and.....well....I don't see the file in Window Task Manager any more....I swear it comes back though....*scratches head*...it's like a ghost in my machine....

Anyway, for what it is worth, here is my Hijack log.

Oh, I am not hallucinating. I just ran the System Configuration Utility and found its registry entry in the startup list....I bet if I reboot my system again it will show up running in Window Task Manager again.
ripple199
Here is a logfile with the file running in processes. I'd appreciate any light shed on this.....right now I haven't a clue what the heck it is....
