My PC has been acting strangly. Slow operations, and unexplained crashes.
I also noticed that when I click on the title bat (to change options), if I uncheck the Acrobat, my Google toolbar goes away. Conversly, if I uncheck the Google bar, the Acrobat goes away...

I'm posting my log for your inspection.

Your log is clean. Clearing temp files may help somewhat. Also have you defragged lately?

This mixup may be nothing more than a mixed up shortcut. Check the links and adjust the icons if necessary.

A very important step to cleaning out adware or a virus is to clear temporary files.

Double Click My Computer (WinXP: Navigate to Start --->My Computer)

You will see an icon representing your harddrive (most likely C: Drive) Right Click on the hard drive icon and click Properties at the
bottom of the fly out window. One the very first tab (General) you will see a button labeled "Disk Cleanup"...click that button.
Make sure the following are checked:
Downloaded Program Files
Temporary Internet Files and
Recycle Bin

Click OK and Disk Cleanup will delete those files for you.

It would also be a good idea to clear your Internet Cookies.
These directions are for Internet Explorer.
Click Tools along the top of Internet Explorer and choose Internet Options
On the General Tab press Delete Cookies.

Your temporary files are now cleared.
Perform this action periodically to keep your computer running at peak performance

Thanks for looking at the log. I've followed your instructions and got a good improvement. rolleyes.gif

Also, I think there are some video driver issues....well that's another day.

Thanks again for the info.
