Gladiator Security Forum > Malware Help Forum > HELP! Think you are Infected?
CFMS
Printer generating spoolserve errors when in database,(Filemaker Pro); Computer crashing when trying to print;computer freezing on start up and at other times; regedit and msconfig not available.
2 computers on network - similar problems on both
Virus system is Norton
Ran Spyware blaster, spyware guard, Adaware 6, and spybot search & destroy 1.3
problems still there
On one machine can't get the update for spyware guard, and on that same machine, Norton Intrusion detection is not enabled and cannot be changed back - this was working up until recently.
On running the above programmes I might have got rid of the Alexa spyware but am not sure. Also DSO Exploit is shown and I might have got rid of it, but again am not sure.
Not sure if there are any more problems and we have very little technical expertise. We are a small local charity with very little time and money available for expensive programs.

Here is the hijack log for the machine which allows updates of the anti spyware software.

The DSO exploit reported by Spybot is known bug corrected in the 1.3.1 update.

Other than that, your log is clean and there is nothing we do in this forum to resolve your issues.
