It would appear that I have a trojan which AVG identifies as "Dropper.Delf.3.L". AVG attempts to quarantine it but it keeps coming back... Ran AVG, TrendMicro's Housecall and AdAware all to no avail. Here is my Hijackthis log:

Hi judica,

Run HijackThis, click on "Scan" and check the boxes next to all these items.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Windows SyncroAd] C:\Program Files\Windows SyncroAd\SyncroAd.exe

You have PowerReg Scheduler in your log. This is a registration reminder that is used by a number of different companies. It is not needed and some people think that it reports back to the company about your computer, so I suggest fixing it...

O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler.exe

Then close all windows, and browsers, except HijackThis. Tell HijackThis to "Fix checked".

Restart your Computer in Safe Mode. How do I Safe Boot my computer?

You may have to have hidden files showing. How do I show hidden files?

Delete the following files in red (it could be that they are deleted already):

C:\temp\msbb.exe

Delete the following folders in red (it could be that they are deleted already):

C:\Program Files\Windows SyncroAd

You need to update Windows and Internet Explorer to get all the latest security patches that protects your computer.

This can be accessed by going to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and following the prompts. You may need to do this more than once.

Restart your computer and post a new log.
