Just to carry on from this i have recently downloaded and installed the MSN toolbar. Now i may be mistaken but i installed this tool bar above all others because it is produced by the programmers of the operating system i use and as such i thought it less likely to cause me any issues, however....
I have installed Pets patrol to check for spyware on my system, it detected spyware in the folder for MSN apps...the actual link is as follows;
C:\Program Files\MSN Apps\ST\01.02.0002.1001\en-gb\stmain.dll
My question is this...is this actually Spyware or is it part of the legitimate MSN program?
