Hi all, right time to explain my situation.. My younger brother was installing grandia 2 (a game) and when it came to installing from second cd he then just cancelled the install as second cd couldnt be found.. well after trying to installin the game fully all it pops up with was to remove the installed components.. it never uninstalls or reinstalls not even from add/remove so then i thought the best way to solve the prob would be to completely remove anythin to do with grandia from the registery.. here is when i noticed something aint right!
All of a sudden (probly nothing to do with the game but something thats been sneakily installed onto the comp in the past week) i now no longer can access regedit! Used lavasoft adaware, spybot search and destroy, norton anti-v and registery mechanic to clear up and fix any crap on the comp.. tried using the scripts that i think hunter made but they dont work.. noticed i have no regedit.exe but in the system32 folder DO have regedt32.exe but is this cus im on windows xp? either way that dont work either anyway! Done a hijackthis scan and the log is as follows... :unsure:

Cheers anyway hunter for help with regedit.. now its just those hosts things.. i have this fat urge to just delete the gits but then i aint the comp expert so im really thinkin just wait to see what the pro's say
