I have a couple of problems going on with my windows xp machine.

1st - When IE is open I get this error:
Runtime Error!

2nd - When I get on my machine every morning there are several internet adds on my machine. I do not have the internet opened at all, so not sure why they are coming up.

3rd - I also get tons of adds when I have the internet opened. Before I didn't get this many adds when the internet was opened.

Hi,

You've got quite a lot of junk there.

First, please download Peperfix from here: http://downloads.subratam.org/PeperFix.exe Double-click to run it, then click on Find and Fix. Reboot as prompted.

Next, please follow the instructions here to enable viewing of hidden/system files: http://www.xtra.co.nz/help/0,,4155-1916458,00.html

After that, please download and Install Ad-Aware from here if you haven't already: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ . Once Installed or if you already had it Installed, while online start Ad-Aware, click on the "Check for Updates Now" link at the bottom right, then click "Connect". After it updates, click "Finish".

Reboot to Safe Mode.

In Safe Mode, start Ad-Aware, then click "Start" then check "Perform Smart System Scan" and make sure ""Activate In-Depth Scanning" is green, then hit "Next". When it finishes scanning and the "Scanning Results" screen shows up, right click in the window and choose "Select All Objects" then click on "Next" then "OK".

Still in Safe Mode, close all open windows, then scan with Hijack This, put checks next to all the items I've quoted below that remain and then click "Fix Checked":



Remaining in Safe Mode, delete any of these files that remain:

Please reboot to Safe Mode.

In Safe Mode, with all windows closed, scan with Hijack This, put checks next to all the items I've quoted below and click "Fix Checked":
