I have ran numerous spyware programs and even my norton antivirus with updated everything and still cant find a trojan called java bytever.a-1. My computers harddrive keeps depleting to zero bytes and my printer doesnt work anymore. I unshared my printer and everything else shared on my computer because i am on a college campus network in the dorms. I did a scan using housecall and it found the file in C:\Documents and Settings\Joel Brooket\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javapi\v1.0\jar\ar3.jar-6e37709f-10eec9f7.zip *Gummy.class*. It is uncleanable and not deleteable so i dont know what to do. Please help....

Your log is clean. I checked Sun Java on my computer and do not have that jar file. (checking for a false positive)

Use Killbox to remove it on reboot. Here are the instructions:

Now download KillBox: http://download.broadbandmedic.com/VbStuff/KillBox.zip

Unzip and run it.

Don't click any of the buttons though, instead please click on the Action menu and choose "Delete on Reboot".

On the next screen, click on the File menu and choose "Add File".
Navigate to the file you want to delete.
If that's successful, choose the Action menu and select "Process and Reboot".
You'll be prompted to reboot, do so.

After rebooting, make sure the file is gone.

Wait, you mean you dont have the C:\Documents and Settings\Joel Brooket\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javapi\v1.0\jar folder or the ar3.jar-6e37709f-10eec9f7.zip file or the *Gummy.class* file??? Sorry I don't understand these types of files. thank you.
LoPhatPhuud
I do not have this Jar file: ar3.jar-6e37709f-10eec9f7.zip

It may or may not be valid. Most likely it is ok, but if you want to delete it, use Killbox.
