CalamityJane
You log looks clean Angel :)

Have you had any problems?

The one thing you need to do is make a separate folder for HijackThis and move or extract the HijackThis.exe into the new folder. We suggest putting one in your Programs folder for instance (C:\Program Files\HijackThis) and then go to that folder and run it from there. This will keep the backup files it makes when using fixes in a nice neat folder where it can use them.

Where it is now, it cannot make the proper backups.
C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\TD_0010.DIR\HIJACKTHIS.EXE <--needs it's own folder

Thanks CalamityJane! No, I haven't noticed any real problems... the last episode scared me so bad that I just wanted to stay on top of things. I put the hijack this in it's own folder under C:/Programs/Hijack as you suggested. Again, many thanks! Angel
