Hi,

Could you please go to your Internet Explorer, open Tools menu and there Windows update? There update all critical updates and patches, and Service Packs.

Maybe you have to do this several times, starting from SPs. Reboot every time it needs to.

It seems that you have a CWS infection, so after doing that please download Find-All.zip from http://www10.brinkster.com/expl0iter/freeatlast/pvtool.htm?

Put it in a folder, unzip it and run FIND-ALL.BAT. When it finishes please post here the contents of both output.txt and windows.txt files. The latter could be wierd, but is Ok, post it the same.

You need to uninstall Kazaa. If you want to use a similar program please ask and I'll provide you a list of clean choices. Once uninstalled download Ad-aware from my signature and update it (the Globe icon, then Connect). Then perform a FULL (Custom, the second option) install and be sure to follow exactly what it's said in http://www.lavahelp.com/howto/fullscan/index.html. Eliminate all that Ad-aware finds. Reboot.

Then post a fresh HT log.

Ok. Please go to http://www.teknum.com/ and check if some of their products are in your machine or were installed by you. If not please copy the following files to a new folder in your desktop called Junk:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Teknum Systems\updsvc.exe
C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\TEKNUM~1\update.exe

Then close all open programs and browser windows and open HijackThis. Press Scan. Place a mark in ONLY the following entries:

Then reboot and place a fresh HT log.

If you DO have Teknum software, just reboot and post a fresh HT log.

Please be completely sure about that software, because you can damage it if you delete the folders and it's legit.
