Any ideas how I can stop this? My HijackThis log is below.

Do you use either Kazaa or MessengerPlus? If so, that is how you got this. If not, you probably got it through an ActiveX download somehow.

Please make a new folder to put your HijackThis.exe into. Anywhere on your hard drive is fine other than your Desktop or the Temp folder. We suggest you use C:\Program Files\HijackThis but feel free to use any name or folder you like. Unzip HijackThis again and save the contents (Hijackthis.exe) to the new folder you made. Then navigate to it and run HijackThis from there. This is to ensure it makes the necessary backups for recovery if needed.

You will need to do this fix in SAFE MODE so please print out these instructions so you can follow them.

Reboot your PC into SAFE MODE

How to start the computer in Safe mode
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgen...src=sec_doc_nam

Scan with HijackThis and when it finishes, put an x in the boxes next to these items, then press *fix checked*

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Heart Size] C:\PROGRA~1\real live city\Film dale send.exe

O4 - Global Startup: GStartup.lnk = C:\Program Files\Common Files\GMT\GMT.exe

O16 - DPF: {034CC2DC-3245-4B26-B5C7-7B8777739CB7} - http://access.gamesplayground.com/output/0...s/fullgames.exe

O16 - DPF: {A0F0D762-D1DE-43AF-B70E-D87864743EB3} (NSLiteUpdateCtrl Class) - http://217.145.76.6/quickdl/livevideo/nslite.cab

O16 - DPF: {F57D17AE-CE37-4BC8-B232-EA57747BE5E7} - http://66.230.146.53/EPlugin_GB.cab

While still in SAFE MODE, delete the following folders named in bold:

C:\PROGRAM FILES\real live city

C:\Program Files\Common Files\GMT

Then reboot back into normal mode and scan again with HijackThis. Post a new log please. :)

Well, that is a first - because I sure do not see that on your log. Try resetting your web settings with internet options under tools for IE.

And can you describe the popup you are talking about (or make a screen shot and attach it to a reply here?)
mogden
i have adjusted my IE settings back to normal and here is the log again and also i have added a screen dump and it is the grey section at the bottom of the screen

Many Thanks
Michael
