Nortons Internet Security 2004 has flagged up a threat called fsg_4104.exe an adware.gator type. I am a relatively ignorant to alot of these threats and pretty much relied on NIS2004 to protect me from all the nasty things in the world......apparently not! It can detect the threat...no problem but It never seems to delete it from my system. I then tried ADAWRE to see if that could get rid of it but again without success.
Can you help??....please!

I've just had your problem with fsg_4104.exe. I did a full search of the computer
to find out where it was, then deleted it from the search results and it seems to have gone. maybe I got lucky. Think you should try it, though

Adaware will remove it if you update it..but in fact your best bet is to uninstall the program you got for free in your add/remove programs that has the thing embedded and or read this link.
