Hi ignats90 and welcome to the forum flowerz.gif

I'm working on your log now and it will take me a few minutes to put together a detailed response.

In the meantime, you have a suspicious file there I would really like to have a copy of for analysis. I've sent you my email address to send to in a Private Message (check your message box at the top of the forum).

I'll be back with a full answer here next :)

These items are all I see:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {1C78AB3F-A857-482e-80C0-3A1E5238A565} - C:\WINNT\System32\toolbar.dll <---this is the item I would like a copy of, please.

O8 - Extra context menu item: &iSearch The Web - res://C:\WINNT\System32\toolbar.dll/SEARCH.HTML

If that is not a toolbar you installed on purpose, you can fix it with HijackThis. Make sure all browsers and any open windows are closed (preferably be offline) and scan then place an x next to those entries and press fix checked.

As for the harmless but running items that don't necessarily need to be starting at bootup here are two sites you can use to determine which ones you want to keep and which are not needed. It will also give you some recommendations on how to best disable them.

You can go to this site to check all your startup items. Look up each of the 04 items on your log and see what it has to say about whether an item is needed at startup and if not, how to best disable it.
Startup Applications
http://www.sysinfo.org/startupinfo.php

For your running processes (the first part of your log where each item listed begins with "C:" , you can look those up here :)
